If you visit Lofou at the end of September, do not miss the palouzes festival which takes place in the courtyard of the elementary school. You can taste Palouze (Grape Must Dessert) for free and see local craftsmen, potters and woodcarvers exhibiting their traditional creations. For the children there is a work corner which provides special moments and the opportunity to ride on donkeys.
